The track to celebrate, our squad and bi-monthly….

Brooke and I decided that we would celebrate Global Running Day the best way possible—>  A trip to the track (and I predict years down the road we will celebrate with a trail run in the mountains).

Her forward lean while she runs is spot on:)

Brooke is the one that reminded me we needed to take our water bottles and I’m glad she remembered because we took a bunch of drink breaks over the course of .5 miles (we were just going to do one lap and when we finished that lap Brooke wanted to go for another—> and my runner’s heart rejoiced).

She also did what I always want to do with 100m left of my track workout left and hung out on the side for a bit.

The feeling of accomplishment after a good run starts very early in life.

After our track experience I did 5 miles on my treadmill @ 8:00 pace but I’m really glad I got a little bit of outdoor running with Brookers today.

And just because I document every aspect of our life:

After that we went to stock up on produce because I’m on my bimonthly ‘WE NEED TO EAT AT HOME AND MORE PRODUCE’ kick.  I love Costco produce and I have a very colorful looking inside of a fridge again.

And then we picked up the yearly pool noodle.  It’s one of our 3000 traditions.

Snack break with some chocolate Kind bars.

And then our two favorite guys came over and the kids played outside in the sand for a very long time.

I put together our salads for dinner (I’m pretty sure our tastebuds are the exact same and this is his favorite salad) too… plus Boathouse dressing = our favorite.

Somebody’s mastered the double child holding at once thing.  People just assume they are twins when we are out and about.

I have one running accomplishment that I am sharing a day early:)  Pretty stoked about it!!!

MY NEPHEW (my oldest brother’s 9 year old son)!!!!! He ran the 400 meter in 1:27 and the 1600 meter in 7:23 and he got first place in both! He also ran the 100 meter in 16.9.  SO SO SO SO PROUD OF HIM!!!!

How many nieces and nephews do you have?

-TWENTY TWO!!!  I don’t know how my mom keeps track of everyone’s birthdays but she always does.

Where do you get most of your produce?  What are your weekly produce staples?

Anyone have twins or twins in their family?

What’s your current go-to snack?
